I believe in the virtue of value. I always tell my kids that if they want to be successful in life then then need to have something of value to offer whether it be on an intellectual, an emotional, a moral, or a civic level. I have tried to emulate that belief in the activities with which I fill my days.
- I teach because it changes lives in a way that has a direct impact on the future.
- I draw pet portraits because it allows owner's to celebrate that unique family member.
- I design/make family time charts to help families strengthen relationships and create lasting memories.

In the end, I view life and happiness as an exercise in adding value.
